The CTET September 2015 examination was conducted successfully and the result for the same has been declared as well. Now, it’s the time for CTET 2016 which has been scheduled to be conducted in the months of February and September. The eligible and interested candidates can fill the CTET online application form 2016 as per the latest notification published by CBSE on its official website at www.ctet.nic.in or www.cbse.nic.in. It is advised to all the candidates that they should check out the eligibility conditions carefully before filling up the application form. Eligibility Criteria: The candidates applying for central teacher eligibility test should be having 10+2 as their basic qualification with minimum of 50% marks. Also, they should have qualified the two year Diploma programme in Elementary Education.
Important Dates: The dates of Central Teacher Eligibility Test for the year 2016 has been mentioned below:
- 9th Edition of CTET will be held on 21st February 2016 (Sunday)
- Dates for Submission of On-Line Application form: 04th December, 2015 to 28th December, 2015
- Last date to submit online application form : 28th December, 2015
- Last date for submission of fee: 29th December 2015
- 10th Edition of CTET will be held on 18th September 2016 (Sunday)
Steps to fill up CTET Application Form 2016 online :
- Please visit the official website at : www.ctet.nic.in
- It is advised to read the official notification of CTET – FEB 2016 carefully before filling the Online Application form
- After reading out all the important instructions, please click on “Apply Online CTET Feb 2016” link which is available at the middle-bottom of the home page.
- Here you need to click on “Proceed to Apply Online” which will open up instruction page which you have follow while filling up the application form. Then again click on “Proceed to Apply Online” button which is available at the end of instruction page.
- Now fill up the application form carefully with all the required accurate information.
- After submitting the form, you need to upload your latest photograph and signature as per the image size mentioned in the notification.
- Next Step is to submit the exam fees which can be paid via two methods :
- Through Challan by deposit of prescribed fees in CBSE Account with Syndicate Bank or HDFC Bank
- Online by using Debit/Credit Card/ Net Banking.
- Note: The bank will charge the service charges and taxes (as applicable) extra along with fee.
- After submitted the fee you will be redirected to Confirmation page. You should take print out of this page and keep it with you for future reference.
- The applicants do not need to send the hard copy of application to any where. They should keep the hard copy of application form and bank challan or e-challan with them for any future reference.
CTET Admit Card Feb 2016: The candidates will be able to download the CTET Admit Card from official website w.e.f. 25th Jan, 2016. It is compulsory for all the applicants to bring the hard copy of admit card along with valid ID proof to appear for the examination at the given exam centre. The information about the examination centre will be mentioned on the hall ticket or admit card.
