IGNOU BDP Application Oriented Courses – (ignou ba application oriented courses, ignou b.com application oriented courses, ignou b.sc. application oriented courses):
As we all know that the disciplines which comes under the category of Bachelor Degree Programmes has two things in common to them i.e the foundation courses & application oriented courses. Here we have provided the list of application oriented courses which comes under the BDP.
This is third and last component of the IGNOU BDP programme. The courses included in this component has been designed and developed in such as way that it requires applications of skills. The learner has to select at least 8 credits worth of courses from this group.
The maximum no. of courses you have been allowed to select from this group are of 16 credits. In case, If you have chosen a total of 64 credits from elective courses, then you should take only 8 credits under Application Oriented Courses.
Alternatively, if you have opted only 56 credits from elective courses, then you are allowed to take 16 credits from Application Oriented Courses. we have mentioned below the list of Application Oriented required to be completed to get degree certificate.

- Commerce based Application-oriented Courses. However, students are free to choose any Application-oriented Course(s) of their choice. Among 4 credit Application Oriented Courses, they have to choose at least two 4 credit courses to make up 8 credits in total.
- ** All these courses have a theory component of 6 credits and a project/Lab component of 2 credits. The project is to be submitted in SED at IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068.
- *** +2 level of mathematics is a pre-requisite.
- + CHE1, CHE 2 and CHE 3(L) are pre-requisite for this course. This course is only for those who have studied Chemistry up to 10+2 level.
