Eligibility Criteria

Duration of Programme
It is two years professional Bachelor degree programme in the field of education which means the students has to complete the degree within the minimum duration of two years. However, the university allows students the maximum duration of five years to complete the B.Ed programme.
IGNOU B.Ed Fees 2019
The total IGNOU B.Ed Fees 2019 is Rs.50,000/- . The complete fee has to be paid at the time of admission during the first year. The candidates are strictly advised to not the pay fee along with the application fee for the entrance test.
It should be noted that there is a difference between application fee and programme fee. The application fee has to be paid at the time of applying for entrance test whereas the programme fee has to be paid only when admission is confirmed. For submitting the IGNOU B.Ed Admission Fee, the candidates qualifying in the entrance test will be communicated separately about their admission and payment of programme fee. The candidates can submit the programme fee only in the form of Demand Draft which has to be drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at the city where your Regional Centre is situated.
It is advised to candidates that they should write their name and the programme code i.e. B.Ed. in capital letters your on the back of the Demand Draft to ensure proper credit of your fee to the relevant account.

IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Date 2018
IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Application Form 2018
The university conducts this entrance test at the national level in the various examination centres all over the country. The university will conduct the entrance test on the date which will be mentioned in the advertisement.
The B.Ed entrance date can be checked in the latest IGNOU admission notification. To appear in the entrance examination, the university will upload the hall ticket on its official website at www.ignou.ac.in ten to 15 days before the date of the test.
It should be noted that merely appearing in the entrance test does not mean that candidate is eligible for admission. The final admission to IGNOU B.Ed programme is subjected to rank obtained by the candidates in the merit list in the entrance test and production of proof of their eligibility.
The candidates have to submit the final application for admission to B.Ed. the programme along with original certificates (proof of eligibility) and the programme fee to confirm their admission. The number of seats in the regional centres where the B.Ed Programme Study Centres (PSC’s) are available is limited to 50 only.

IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Exam Pattern
In the entrance test of IGNOU B.Ed programme, the candidates will be provided with a test booklet which consists of 100 objective type multiple choice questions. Each question will be one march each which means the total number of marks will be 100.

The entrance paper will be divided into two parts: Part A & B. The Part A will consist of questions from the following sections:
- Section I: General English Comprehension (10 Marks)
- Section II: Logical & Analytical Reasoning (20 Marks)
- Section III: Educational & General Awareness (25 Marks)
- Section IV: Teaching-Learning & the School (25 Marks)
The Part – B will consist of one section having five different subjects but the candidate has to attempt only one Subject of their choice. It will be of 20 marks.

Duration of Entrance Test : 2 hours
The Candidates will be provided with the specifically designed OMR response sheet to mark their answers in the examination hall.
The university has provided the sample OMR sheet in the prospectus and it can be noticed that it is totally different from the answer sheets which we get in the School/College examinations.
Therefore, it becomes very much important for the candidate appearing in entrance test that he/ she should in advance about the OMR and how to mark their answers on it.
In Ignou B.Ed entrance, the candidates will be provided with a booklet which consists of 100 multiple choice objective questions.
IGNOU B.Ed Counselling
After the declaration of IGNOU B.Ed entrance result, the university organizes the counseling where the candidates who qualify in the entrance test are called for the counseling session. The candidates will receive the offer letter for admission after the counselling. The qualified candidates
