www.imtcdl.ac.in: The IMT-Centre for Distance Learning offers admission to its distance learning two years Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme in both January and July admission cycles. The IMT-CDL PGDM two year programme is specifically designed to help students to acquire necessary management education which will enhance their management skills. It’s a two year management programme which has been divided to four semesters. After completing this PG Diploma, the learners will feel confident and they must have been developed management skills to compete successfully in the global business environment. IMT-CDL Two Year PGDM Specializations:
The learners who take admission to IMT-CDL two year PGDM course can choose their specialization in the area of choice. The certificate which they will get after completion of the programme would carry the name of specialization. The institute has been offering six Specialization out of which the students has to select one. These are as follows: Finance, Marketing, Information Systems, Operations Management, Human Resource, International Business.

Eligibility Criteria for IMT-CDL Two Year PGDM :
- As we have clearly mentioned in our earlier post that the candidate must be having Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university.
- He/ She has to appear in the Admission test.
Exemption from Admission Test:
There are certain categories of candidates who do not need to appear in the admission test. These are as follows:
- The learners who are having two years of work experience after their graduation are exempted from admission test.
- The Candidates who have passed out in first class (60% or above) in 10th, 12th and graduation are also exempted to appear in the entrance test.
- Technical or Legal Professionals/CA/ICWA/CS/MBBS/ M-Tech
- Holders of PG Diploma of IMT CDL’s One Year Programme
IMT-CDL Two Year PGDM Programme Structure
- The Two Year PGDM programme has been divided into four Semesters.
- There are total number of 20 subjects which includes 15 Core Subjects, 4 electives and 1 project in the last semester.
- First three semesters will be same for the all the learners who choose different specialization. In the last semester, the focus will be given to chosen area of specialization.
- In the last semester, the learners has to study four elective courses from their area of specialization. The learners can choose the electives only from the choice given in that area.
- The learner has to complete the project dissertation in that area as well.
