Kashmir University Admission 2019
The University of Kashmir has published the notification regarding the admission to its various master degree & bachelor Degree programmes for the academic session 2016. The Kashmir University will conduct the KUET entrance test for admission to Under Graduate and Post Graduate programmes.
The Kashmir University has invited online applications from all the eligible candidates for appearing in KUET entrance test.The university has been offering admission to eligible students for the following below mentioned programmes:
- Bachelors programme in Law: (LLB) (3 year professional)
- Master Degree Programmes: Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Education (M.Ed), Master of Social Work(MSW), Master of Physical Education(M.PEd.), Master of Commerce(M.Com), Master degree in Arabic, English, Hindi, Kashmiri, Library & Information Science, Linguistics, Persian, Sanskrit, Urdu, Education, Economics, History, Islamic Studies, Kashmir& South Asian Studies, Mass Communication & Journalism, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Botany, Bioresources, Clinical Biochemistry, Zoology, Electronics & Instrumentation Technology, Home Science (Dietetics & Clinical Nutrition, Food Science & Nutrition, Extension and Communication and Human Development), Food Science & Technology, Information Technology, Chemistry, Disaster Management, Environemental Science, Geography, Applied Geology, Geo-Informatics, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics.

Eligiblity: The candidates must certain eligibility criteria before applying to appear in entrance test. They must have bachelors degree from recognised unversity with the required percentage and combination of subjects mentioned in the Kasmir University Prospectus.
Also, the candidates who have appeared in the final bachelor degree examinations and waiting for their results can also apply provisionally on their own risk as they need to fulfill all the eligibilty conditions on the date of issuance of first selection list.The candidates can check the detailed eligibility criteria in the KU prospectus which is available online on the official website of university at http://www.kashmiruniversity.ac.in/
How to fill up KUET entrance examination form online?
- Please visit the Kashmir univerity website at http://www.kashmiruniversity.net OR http://www.kashmiruniversity.ac.in.
- Click on the link “Admissions 2016” and read out all the important instructions and guidelines before filling and submission of form.
- Before filling up the KU entrance examination form, the candidates must need to register themselves by clicking on the link “Register as Student”. Please mention your valid mobile number and email id while doing the registration.
- After you register successfully, please login with the correct username and password that you have filled during registration.
- Enter your Registration No. and click Search.
- Please select the desired programme, Campus College/ Preferences, Upload passport size photograph and specimen signature.
- Before submitting the form, please click on the preview buttom to preview it. If everything filled by you is correct and complete, then proceed to click on submit button. After submitting the application form, you should take print out of the application and note down the Form No. for future reference.
- The last step is to submit the fee for online application form. The candidates need to deposit the fee of Rs.500/- for entrance test for programme plus Rs.10/- bank charges and Rs.250/- for each subsequent programme via online mode or Bank pay-in-Slip generated with the application form in any of the branches of J&K Bank Ltd. across the country.
Submission of downloaded filled in application form
The candidates who comes under the open merit category do not need to submit the downloaded copy of their submitted online application form.However, they should keep it with them for future reference.
But the Candidates who falls under Reserved Category shall submit the hard copy of application form along with self attested photocopy of reserved category certificate at the admission helpline counter at Humanities Block (Ground Floor), University of Kashmir. Also, they should bring the original Reserved Category Certificate along with them for on spot verification.
