The Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak has invited online application from the students for admission to its various courses such as Integrated/ Graduate, Post Graduate, M.Ed, M.Phil, etc for the academic session 2016-17. The MDU Admission 2016 has been already started from 26th May 2016 and will last long till 31st August 2016. However, the last date of admission depends on the course you are opting for and it can be checked in the notification.
MDU Prospectus 2016:
The complete details about the admission and the courses are mentioned in the MDU Prospectus 2016-17. So, the applicant should obtain the prospectus first to know about the admission process and also about the course for which he or she is going to take admission for the academic year 2016-17.
The applicants can download the soft copy of MDU prospectus from the university official website or they can obtain the printed copy of prospectus from the Sale Counter of Publication Cell, Near Gate No.1 and University Institute of Law & Management Studies, Sector 40, Gurgaon by paying sum of Rs.100/- in cash. The students will be able to get the prospectus from sale counter w.e.f. 26th May 2016.
How to Apply for MDU Rohtak Admission 2016?
The learners who wish to apply for admission need to visit the university official website at www.mdurohtak.ac.in and fill up the MDU Online Admission Form 2016. After submitting the MDU Online application form, the applicants need to take the print out of submitted application form. They have to send the duly signed application form along with required documents to the concerned Department/Office within one week of the last date of submission of online application form.
It is advised to read out the instructions carefully before start filling up the application form. Eligibility Criteria:
It is little difficult for us to mention here complete details about the eligibility criteria for different courses. The admission eligibility criteria about each course separately can be checked in the prospectus. But here we have mentioned the minimum eligibility criteria for each category of courses which is as follows:
- To apply for admission to Integrated/ Graduate Courses, the applicant should be having qualification of Intermediate (10+2) in any Stream.
- The candidate must be having Graduation in any stream/ discipline from recognised university for admission to Post Graduate Courses.
- For Admission to Master of Education (M.Ed.) course, the learner should be B.Ed. with at least 50% marks.
- To take admission to M.Phil, the applicant should be having Master Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks.
