Symbiosis International University (SIU) is a private university having multiple institutions under it. The university is located in Pune, Maharashtra (India). Actually it is managed by the Symbiosis Society. SIU has 28 academic institutions spread over 10 locations in India. The motto of Symbiosis International University is ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ i.e. ‘The world is one family’.
Now coming onto the topic, SNAP is a common written test which is to be qualified for taking admission to all the post graduate institutes of SIU.
Eligibility Criteria: A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is advisable, from any recognized university. And also the minimum score is 50% marks for general category while it is 45% for SC & ST categories. The minimum age of the candidate applying for SNAP is 21 years.

SNAP Pattern: The paper has four sections with objective type questions in each section. Each question has four options.The aspirant has to choose the most appropriate one.
- Section I: General English, Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability: 40 Marks
- Section II: Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency: 40 Marks
- Section III: General Awareness, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Business Scenario: 40 Marks
- Section IV: Analytical & Logical Reasoning: 60 Marks
The SNAP test duration is 120 minutes. Yes, negative marking of 25% is also there in this test. The candidate must have to use Blue or Black ball point pen only.
Registration Procedure for SNAP: The candidate can register for this test online on www.snaptest.org. Scanned copy of the latest colour photograph of the candidate is also to be uploaded. The application fee is 1500/- which can be paid online or through cash or through demand draft. For online payment through credit card, the candidate can pay through a Master card or Visa Card directly. For payment through Net Banking, the candidate can transfer the fee to Symbiosis Test Secretariat.For paying through Cash, the candidate has to print Axis Bank or Indian Bank challan from the website after doing registration. Then after, the candidate has to pay the challan to the mentioned bank branch. The copy of challan that is stamped by the bank is then to be sent to the Symbiosis Test Secretarait.
For paying through Demand Draft, the candidate has to obtain a demand draft of Rs. 1500/- from any Nationalized Bank in favor of the ‘Symbiosis Test Secretarait’, payable at Pune. Now the candidate has to fill the details of the DD on SNAP website & after that a print out to be taken out of the Payment Advice & sent to the Symbiosis Test Secretarait along with the DD.
