Now comes tier 2, it also has the same multiple choice questions format. But the syllabus and subjects for Tier 2 are different. Here questions will be from Quantitative Abilities, Comprehension, English Language & Statistics. Here paper1 will be of 10th level, Paper2 will be based on 10+2 level. While paper 3 will check your level of graduation. Now the wait for Tier 3 is over. It is the last level of examination, & comprises of a Personal Interview and Skill Test.
Recruitment: Staff Selection Commission offers various government jobs based on the merit in CGL Examination such as Audit Officer, Statistical Investigator Grade-II, Compiler etc. SSC has announced the prospective job vacancies open for suitable candidates in 2015. In 2011 there was an increment in recruitment to at least 20000 to 25000. There was an urge need for this increment so as to recruit more and more public servants who can perform their responsibilities without faltering.
